VIRTUAL ZOOM COOKING CLASSES AVAILABLE

We deliver you the groceries, if desired, and you cook along with us. A fun activity for your group while we’re in lockdown!

Book your own group of at least 10 people or join one of our scheduled classes below. We are happy to work with you to customize a menu for your group.

Each 2 hour hands-on virtual cooking class includes a recipe booklet, lots of information and lively conversation.

Classes cost $100+ HST per person for the Zoom class and $140 + HST per person if you’d like to include ingredients needed for the class and delivery to your home in the GTA. 

To register, email debbie@myplacefordinner.com with your phone number and a good time to call you for credit card information (Visa or Mastercard # and expiry date).

You will receive the recipes, a shopping list and the Zoom login information 1 week before the class.

Scheduled classes are non-refundable & not transferable to another date. If you’re unable to attend, you may send someone in your place.

Tuscan Cuisine

Sunday January 17: 4pm to 6pm

This class features the best of this region in Italy. Make these simple and elegant dishes: Arugula with Capers, Olives and Fresh Parmesan, Chicken in Balsamic, Braised with Pine Nuts & Raisins, Panzanella (Tuscan Bread Salad) and Orange Polenta Cake with Whipped Cream and Berries.

Flavours of Thailand

Sunday January 31: 4pm to 6pm

Bring the vibrant flavours of Thai cooking into your kitchen! Make Cold Rice Paper Rolls with Sweet Red Chili Sauce, Mango Salad, Pad Thai and Red Curry of Chicken with Vegetables.

Valentine’s Day Couples Cooking Class

Sunday February 14: 6pm to 8pm   Special price: $250 + HST per couple including ingredient delivery in the GTA . Wine pairing suggestions will be provided.

Enjoy a wonderful evening of cooking with your loved one! In this class we will make Handmade Cavatelli in Brown Butter Sage Sauce, Baby Arugula with Persimmons, Pomegranate, Mint and Feta, Chicken Paillard in Fresh Tomato Pan Sauce and Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes.

Moroccan Cuisine

Sunday February 28: 4pm to 6pm  

Discover the sweet and spicy aromatic flavours characteristic of this region. We’ll make Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons, Couscous with Dried Fruits & Nuts, Carrot Salad & Almond Phyllo Snake with Orange Creme Anglaise.

Sushi

Sunday March 7: 4pm to 6pm 

Learn how to prepare and present authentic sushi with a simple and demystifying approach. Sip green tea while we make miso soup, Japanese salad, sushi rice, California rolls, inside out rolls and tuna & salmon nigiri!
