My Place For Dinner whips up a unique learning experience that is guaranteed to get your team cooking. Our hands-on corporate cooking classes puts everybody into the kitchen for an extraordinary offsite activity. They'll bond and have fun learning to prepare a delicious meal together.

Many corporations find My Place For Dinner to be a new and exciting venue for hands-on team-building cooking classes, office celebrations and client entertaining. Cooking encourages collaboration, teamwork and interaction. 

Here's how it works:

Choose a menu for a 3 hour session for 12 - 200 people. A minimum of 12 people is required for a daytime event and a minimum of 20 people is required for an evening event. Costs cover full-course meal, water, perrier, recipe booklets to take-home, lots of information and lively conversation. You may bring your own wine to the event (Special Occasion Permit from the LCBO required). We can provide sommelier services for your group for an additional cost.

When your group arrives, they are greeted with beverages and an hors d'oeuvre. Each guest receives a complimentary recipe booklet with the personalized menu that's been pre-selected. A complete discussion of the menu including ingredients, flavorings and shopping tips is given. The group is then arranged into smaller groups to prepare the different recipes for the meal. Relevant culinary techniques, tools, equipment and presentation ideas are discussed as the evening progresses. Finally, everyone sits down together to enjoy the fruits of their labour.

Classes are held at the Miele Showroom either downtown in Yorkville or at Highway 400 and Vaughan Mills.
